I believe that one of the thing it is done is to shift the focus of people and organization away from the hierarchical systems of top down learning. Nowadays, learning has changed. Schools are now buying into learning to learn. ICT plays a vital role in this as it makes learning available full. Learning is no longer confined to school hours. Every now and then alerts would spring up from friends just chatting or asking question and sharing knowledge. They would fine the resources, a website, for examples, where they could find the answer for themselves.
ICT can be define as information and communication technologies and are defined, for the purposes of this primer, as a diverse set of technological tools and resources used to communicate, and to create, disseminate, store, and manage information. These technologies include computers, the Internet, broadcasting technologies such as radio and television, and telephone. ICT give lots of benefits to us. As a teacher to be, we must able to make use to the ICT effectively and efficiently. In order to use it properly, teacher must alert and update to all the application, so that they can use them in their teaching and learning activities in the classroom. Teacher need to choose the most ideal ICT application to be use to attract and enhancing learning in the classroom. So that, the students will love and enjoy beside understand what the teacher want to deliver is. If the teacher knows how to use the ICT, she or he need to apply and used it in the classroom. From what I had seen even in my school teacher do not use the ICT application that had prepare by our government. It is such a waste of money because government spends lots of money in ICT in order to help students in learning.
If we are a science teacher, it is better to use ICT application. For example, Teacher can use it during science activity such as if the teacher prepare an experiment for the students, the teacher can use data logger for the students instead using the conventional one. They are three ways we can enhance and extend of ICT in learning such as data logging, simulations, spreadsheets and databases. All this program can be apply in the learning process.
